Public calculators do not require an account. We only create an account record if you choose to save and track scenarios.

Analytics scope
- We collect basic analytics and product interaction events to improve tools and guides.
- Event tracking includes tool usage, scenario-share actions, tracked-scenario CTA clicks, and outbound recommendation clicks.
Tracked scenario data
- When scenario tracking is enabled, we store the scenario assumptions and the pricing snapshot used for the saved result.
- We use that saved payload to recompute the scenario against newer pricing snapshots and show drift over time.
- If you subscribe, we store the basic account and billing details needed to manage your plan.
What we store
- Saved scenario assumptions and the pricing snapshot tied to the saved result.
- Latest recompute results and saved-versus-latest deltas for each tracked scenario.
- Your account email, plan status, and the basic billing state needed to enforce plan limits.
Retention and deletion
- Email us from the address on your account to request account or tracked-scenario deletion.
- We keep only the account and billing history needed to resolve support, prevent abuse, and satisfy payment or accounting obligations.
Service providers
- Sign-in is handled by Amazon Cognito.
- Billing and subscription management are handled by Stripe-hosted checkout and billing pages.
- Tracked-scenario storage and API delivery run on AWS.
- Account and tracking emails send from contact@unitcostai.com.
When we email you
- We send a tracked-scenario alert only when a newer pricing snapshot changes the latest visible result for a saved scenario.
- We do not send an alert just because a snapshot id changed.
- That alert rule applies to the free tracked slot too; paid plans mainly expand saved-scenario capacity.
